Land of Borneo Manukan Island

3rd day at Kota Kinabalu Sabah.. The next agenda is visiting a Manukan Island..
Manukan Island Resort, operated by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges, is located on the island of Manukan in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Access is from the jetty at Jesselton Point ferry terminal (formerly Sabah Port Authority) in downtown Kota Kinabalu. The passenger ferry terminal is located a few minutes away from Le Meridien Hotel Kinabalu. Boat journey takes about 20 minutes to the island.

Snorkeling activitys is a must when visiting Manukan Island

Under the jetty

Manukan is highly recommended for snorkeling, as the island is blessed with plenty of marine life.Manukan’s seawater is definitely not as clear but its shore is more appealing because there are no dead corals washed up on the beach – good for your feet.
